Description from the seller
A tray or serving tray. Original Art Deco and made in the Gebrüder Mehner factory, in Germany around circa 1920.
Dimensions:
- length including handles 44 cm
- length without the handles 35 cm
- width 25.5 cm
- height 4.5 cm
- weight 1157 grams (about 1.2 kg)
The overall condition of the tray is, given its age, fair to good. It is a beautiful collectible and also a functional item.
The nickel-plated decorative edge, feet, and handles show the expected wear from use, such as worn spots or small scratches.
The tile in the tray is still in good condition, with no cracks or fractures. The tile still sounds solid and has the typical minor glaze flaws or imperfections that arose from the firing process and signs of use such as small scratches.
The entire condition and state of the tray are captured as accurately as possible in the photos. Please view the photos for all details; they are part of the description.
This lot will be well packaged, traceable, and registered, shipped nationally & internationally.
