Peill & Putzler “Ice Cube” Table Lamp TA 14 – Vintage Design
Rare and decorative Peill & Putzler table lamp “Ice Cube,” model TA 14, from the 1970s.
The compact lamp features a strictly cubic housing made of frosted, light-transmitting glass. The matte surface softly diffuses the light. Especially striking is the round indentation on the top with the chrome reflector, which creates an exciting contrast to the solid, clearly designed glass body.
The design is typical of the high-quality German lighting production of the 1960s/70s and combines minimalist form with Space-Age and Mid-Century influences.
