Beautiful Art Deco wall bust of Mary with child, designed and executed by Peter Scharwitz (1890-1940) for Steingutfabriken Velten, Vordamm, Germany in the 1920s.

The sculpture is made of red-fired clay with white glaze. Hand-signed on the back and in excellent original condition.

It is 30 cm tall.
