Relic - Bronze, Glass, Textile - 1850-1900 - Relics of Jesus Christ

Bronze Reliquary from the 1800s containing 5 rare relics of Our Lord Jesus Christ. In the center, a relic of the True Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ; above it, a fragment of the Rope (Funis) that bound Jesus during his arrest; to the left, a fragment of the column of the Flagellation; to the right, a fragment of the spear (likely the spear that pierced the side during the Crucifixion); below, a fragment of the sponge dipped in vinegar and offered to Jesus suffering on the Cross.

The reliquary is frontally closed by an old glass, while on the back it is closed by red silk threads and by a bishop’s seal in wax.
