Celestial and terrestrial globes - 1920-1930

World globe of 30 cm diameter dated around the 1930s with a metal frame covered in glossy paper. The pedestal is made of wood and metal.
The history of the Vallardi family as Milanese editors, booksellers and printers begins in the eighteenth century, when Francesco Cesare Vallardi started the business in 1750. The company became an important cultural center, frequented by figures such as Giuseppe Parini and Alessandro Volta.
The globe is in good condition, considering the signs of time that have obviously worn the drawn part.
