French fan 1830-1850 according to the opinion of Anne Hoguet, director of the Musée de l'Éventail in Paris.
Antique stage decor on fabric. The 3 scenes are surrounded by shiny sequins.
The ribs are made of pierced bone, adorned with motifs in repoussé metal and gold.
The plume does not contain gold but only repoussé metal.
No flaws or tears; when held up to light, very minor signs of aging can be seen through translucency.

Les brins sont en os repercés ornés de motifs en métal repoussé et en or.

Aucun manque ni déchirure, par transparence lorsque l'évantail est placé devant une lumière, on peut apercevoir de très minimes usures dues à l'âge
