Vintage early 1950's silverplated Jäger Solingen, Germany ( silber. 100 mark ) cutlery set in an original canteen box. Beautiful and richly detailed cutlery set in the elegant Art-Nouveau style .84 pieces/12 pers . Perfect for refined dining and collectors of European tableware. Made in the 2nd half of 20th in Solingen, Germany .
Consisting of:
- 12 dinner spoons
- 12 dinner knives
- 12 dinner forks
- 12 starter/lunch knives
- 12 starter/lunch forks
- 12 teaspoons
- 12 pastry forks
The cutlery is in very good condition, showing minimal age-related signs of wear and use, including sporadic (polishable) oxidation of the silver and very minor scratches.
All knives bear the "Jager Solingen.ROSTFREI" mark on the blade and the number “100” on the handle. All other pieces are marked S.J. j. Co. 100 on the reverse.
The canteen box is in good condition considering its age, with some minor blemishes present.
Total weight: app 6,2 kg.
