Cees Braakman - Nesting tables (3) - Wood - Set of three side tables.

Design classic from the 1950s/60s. This is an original mimi-set (set of 3 nested occasional tables) designed by Cees Braakman for the well-known Dutch furniture manufacturer Pastoe, part of the iconic Japanese Series.
Characteristic of this minimalist mid-century modern design are the 'floating' wooden tops (often made from high-quality teak or rosewood) combined with the clean, geometric frame of black-painted square metal.
