Candlestick - Gold leaf, Polychrome wood

Splendid and ancient Baroque altar candlestick in wood, finely hand-carved and clad in silver with gold leaf finishes. Precious baluster stem richly decorated with molding and acanthus leaves on a tripod support. Refined artisanal craftsmanship from the 18th century of rare quality and Italian elegance. Some normal signs of wear due to age, visible in the photos. Very fascinating and in good condition.
