China Aubusson Rug – Hand-knotted
Origin: China
Material: Wool on cotton
Technique: Fully hand-knotted
This beautiful China Aubusson rug is fully hand-knotted in China. The rug has a classic and calm design. Because of the timeless pattern it fits well in different kinds of interiors.
The rug is made of wool on a cotton base. The wool gives the rug a soft and natural appearance. It feels pleasant to the touch and is suitable for daily use.
Because of the size, this rug is well suited for a spacious living room, dining room, office, study, or other large space. The rug can be nicely placed under a table, sofa or seating area.
The pattern has an elegant appearance with beautiful details. The combination of colors and the classic design ensures that the rug is easy to combine with different furniture.
The rug is clean, washed and well maintained. It is in beautiful condition. As with handmade and washed rugs, there may be small differences and slight signs of wear. This belongs to the look of an authentic handmade rug.
Note: the small visible lines on some parts of the rug have formed during washing. These lines usually become less noticeable with normal use and walking on the rug.
Because the rug is completely handmade, small differences in color, structure and pattern may occur. This makes every handmade rug unique.
All photos were taken outdoors and without filters or special lighting. This is to show the colors and details as naturally as possible. We advise viewing all photos carefully before purchasing the rug. The colors may look slightly different in the light of your own space.
Shipping:
The rug is carefully packaged and shipped insured with Track & Trace. You can easily track the shipment until the rug has safely arrived at you.

Handmade Rugs
At Handmade_rugs, everything is about craftsmanship, tradition, and timeless beauty.
We specialize in the sale of authentic, hand-knotted carpets that are crafted with love and precision by experienced artisans.
At Handmade_Rugs we work with direct contact with our partners in Afghanistan. In the factory there, thousands of people work, spread across different departments. There is a department that prepares the wool and dyes it with natural, plant-based dyes. Other skilled craftsmen specialize in hand-knotted carpets, and another department takes care of the careful washing and finishing of each carpet.
This way of working ensures that everyone earns their income in a fair and respectful manner. Craftsmanship, tradition, and honest work are at the core of what we do.
In addition, we accept orders in all kinds of designs and in all the sizes you desire.
Our collection consists of carefully selected pieces from different regions, each with its own character, color, and pattern.
At Handmade_rugs you’ll find a rug that enriches your interior and creates a warm atmosphere.
We believe in quality, sustainability, and fair trade. That is why we work directly with carpet weavers and support their craft, so that this valuable tradition is preserved for future generations.
