Model Marot

Its name is a direct homage to Daniel Marot (1661-1752), a famous French architect, decorator and engraver. A Protestant exiled to the Netherlands and then to England, he greatly influenced the architectural and decorative style of Louis XIV's era by spreading the French taste across Europe.
