The Sekonic Digi-Spot L-488 is a digital spot meter with shutter priority.
It features a digital LCD display, an EV scale dial, and a backlit display in the viewfinder.
The viewfinder can display both EV and F-stop, making the side LCD on the body unnecessary.
It can use a spot angle of 1° (for spot metering) or 20° (for integral metering).
In addition to ambient light metering, the flash can also be used by turning the on/off switch to flash mode and connecting a PC sync cable.
Flash measurements can only be performed in F-stop mode.
The meter runs on two AA batteries (penlights).

De Sekonic Digi-Spot L-488 is een digitale spotmeter met sluiterprioriteit. Hij heeft een digitaal LCD-display, een EV-rekenschijf en een verlicht display in de zoeker. De zoeker kan zowel EV als F-stop weergeven, waardoor het LCD aan de zijkant van het lichaam niet nodig is. Hij kan een meethoek van 1° (voor spotmeting) of 20° gebruiken (integraalmeting).
