This handwoven Kelim features a clear, modern composition and a distinctive geometric layout. The large base area is in a muted mid-to-gray-blue and forms the calm frame for the central pattern.
At the center lies an elongated field in sage green, framed by broad beige to sand-colored shapes. The side edges of the middle field are jagged, giving the composition a clearly graphic effect. The design is complemented by recurring short line motifs in coral orange, dark blue, brown, cream and muted green.
The patterns are symmetrically distributed across the surface, creating a clear, rhythmic structure. Despite the geometric design, the rug feels pleasantly calm and homely due to the subdued colors and the visible weave.
