The warm ivory base is crossed at the center by a woven runner, with golden stars and snowflakes that sparkle in candlelight. Along the sides stand the Nutcrackers, Hoffmann and Tchaikovsky’s imagined soldiers: kings with crown and scepter, drummers, officers in red, blue and green uniforms, a knight on a rocking horse. At the corners two vintage carousels with white horses and pine cones with evergreen branches and red bows. The outer frame, with a ruby red and gold diamond pattern, frames the design with elegance.

To the touch the hand is substantial, compact and resistant, with luminous reflections given by the golden threads. It is a tablecloth designed to last for years and to return to the festive table every December, like a small family heirloom.
