Description from the seller
Fraraccio – Caltagirone – Traditional Sicilian all-steel knife 420 INOX – Early 2000s
Description
Beautiful folding knife of the Sicilian tradition, made by Fraraccio of Frosolone in the early 2000s.
A model particularly elegant and sought-after, characterized by the construction entirely in 420 INOX steel, for both blade and handle.
The completely metal handle, with elegant glossy finish and visible rivets, gives the knife a sober and refined appearance. The blade bears the inscription “Caltagirone”, accompanied by the distinctive silhouette of Sicily.
The knife measures 20 cm in total when open, with a blade of 8 cm.
This is a model inspired by the Sicilian cutler tradition, born as a versatile tool and traditionally used for multiple daily tasks. Today it also constitutes an interesting collector’s item, especially for enthusiasts of Italian regional cutlery and Fraraccio production.
The elongated line, the fully metal construction and the special glossy finish of the handle make this specimen very elegant. Suitable for collection, display and also for use in convivial settings.
