Description from the seller
It concerns a PURE/FINE silver (999/1000) jus/sauce spoon with the Haags Lofje model.
The Haags Lofje model originated in the 18th century from the Hollands Glad model. Because the Lofje was especially loved by the nobility in the court capital The Hague, it bears the name Haags Lofje.
The Gerritsen Silver Factory produced table silver in 999/1000 purity in the latter half of the 20th century. A procedure devised by the silver factory to manufacture cutlery from nearly pure silver. Due to the purity of the silver (999/1000 = highest fineness = comparable to the silver content of a ZILVERBAAR) this cutlery piece with the Haags Lofje model is RARE and a GOOD INVESTMENT.
This HEAVY SOLID SILVER cutlery piece comes from an inheritance from a family in Garderen.
