Description from the seller
Fossil mammoth tooth - Mammuthus primigenius
Very beautiful large tooth, in a beautiful state
Clear black line along the chewing surface, the chewing surface is also very beautiful indeed
What is especially beautiful about this tooth is that the lamellae are still nicely visible
This tooth has been desalinated and is still in clean water; everyone preserves it in their own way, I am happy to leave that choice to the next owner
Doggerland no longer exists, but traces of it can still be found on the shores of the North Sea. It happens regularly that walkers, enthusiasts and researchers find something special there
Wonderous treasures such as a mammoth tooth. Even in dredged sand flats and in fishing nets bones are brought to the surface, such as this one, as of late 2024
