A Luohan (Chinese: 羅漢) is the Chinese term for an Arhat, a Buddhist adherent who has attained the state of enlightenment (Nirvana). The concept holds deep significance within Buddhism, art, and Chinese martial arts (such as Shaolin Kung Fu).
