• Equipped with a wooden steering wheel, matching gear knob, fitted with new parts and an ASI certificate
HISTORY & OVERVIEW:
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta (Type 116), introduced in the second half of the 1970s, is known for its characteristic transaxle layout (engine in front, gearbox and differential at the rear for optimal weight distribution) and the iconic rear spoiler design. This particular unit was purchased by the seller from a recognized Alfa Romeo specialist at the Auto Moto d'Epoca fair in Bologna. The car has an indicated mileage of 42,648 km, has been mechanically prepared to be road-ready, and is equipped with a range of new parts.
EXTERIOR:
The bodywork is in a pristine condition, finished in a two-tone anthracite/grey paint combination with a striking 'ducktail' rear spoiler. At the front there are authentic Carello lighting with additional driving lamps and headlamp wipers. The glass and rubber seals around are in good condition. The Giulietta sits on 14-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.
INTERIOR:
The interior features fabric upholstery, a wooden steering wheel and a matching wooden gear knob. The driver's seat has been replaced in the past with a newer unit, resulting in a slight color discrepancy relative to the rest of the interior. All instruments and controls in the cabin function properly.
TECHNICAL:
Under the hood lies the 1,779cc naturally aspirated twin-cam four-cylinder engine producing 122 hp, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The engine bay is clean and very well maintained. The car starts immediately, runs nicely and drives and shifts properly.
DOCUMENTS:
The vehicle is supplied with the original manual, the official ASI certificate (Automotoclub Storico Italiano), Italian export papers and registration documents.
A video of the car is available on request.
The vehicle can be viewed and collected. Offers are exclusive of transport and export, unless stated otherwise. Arranging transport, ownership transfer and any export documents/COC costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
