Unisex bracelet made of blue sapphire from Myanmar, with round 8 mm beads that are polished and faceted, elasticated, about 18 cm in length and weighing 27.1 g.
Description from the seller
Exceptionally beautiful bracelet made from blue sapphires from Myanmar (Burma), composed of round beads of about 8 mm. The beads are both polished and faceted, causing the dark sapphire-blue tones to be subtly accentuated under different lighting.
The bracelet displays an attractive spectrum of deep navy blue and midnight blue to blue-gray nuances, combined with the natural internal structures and color variations that give each bead a unique character. The facets provide extra light reflection and give the whole a more pronounced, luxurious appearance.
Sapphire belongs to the mineral group corundum and has a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale. Thus sapphire, after diamond, is among the hardest natural minerals. The blue color of natural sapphire is generally associated with trace elements such as iron and titanium.
With a weight of 27.1 grams this bracelet feels noticeably substantial for beads of about 8 mm.
