Description from the seller

This lot consists of 6 vintage collectible toy soldiers representing the historical figure of Soviet Marshal Georgy Zhukov in ceremonial uniform. The figures wear the white jacket with red details featuring their decorations and medal ribbons on the chest, black trousers and a military cap. These historically significant pieces were produced by the famous Belgian firm Durso, located in Liège and founded by Michel Klimov. The pieces are crafted from the brand's traditional composition material, combining sawdust, glue, chalk and plaster, a technique typical of the Liberation era for collectible toys. Regarding identification, each figure features a clearly legible incised mark underneath its rectangular base indicating the inscription Durso as well as the mention Made in Belgium. As for the dimensions, each soldier has an individual height of 8 cm, while the base individually measures 25 mm in length by 20 mm in width. The weight of each unit is 18 grams, bringing the total weight of the six-piece lot to 108 grams. Concerning the exact condition, the set is in good vintage condition for composition objects, with the general structure remaining quite solid. Normal signs of use as well as minor paint chips or light rubbing are visible in places, particularly on the caps, white uniforms and base corners due to their age, but the pieces retain a very nice freshness in their original colors. Shipping is strictly reserved for member countries of the continental European Union, and no delivery can be guaranteed to island destinations or overseas territories.
