HISTORIE/OVERZICHT:
De Maserati 228 (Tipo AM334) werd door Maserati geïntroduceerd als het luxueuze vlaggenschip binnen de Biturbo-reeks, ontworpen om te concurreren met het topsegment van de Europese GT's. Met zijn bredere spoorbreedte, verlengde wielbasis en het kenmerkende ontwerp van Pierangelo Andreani combineert de 228 Italiaanse klasse met indrukwekkende prestaties. Van dit specifieke model werden wereldwijd slechts 469 exemplaren gebouwd, wat het een uiterst zeldzame verschijning maakt. Dit Nederlandse exemplaar (kenteken DJ-XB-65) heeft een afgelezen kilometerstand van 149.933 km.
EXTERIEUR:
De carrosserie bevindt zich in een strakke en verzorgde staat. Het lakwerk is in het verleden reeds professioneel opnieuw gespoten. Op een paar lichte cosmetische aandachtspunten bij de rechter achterwielkast na presenteert de lak zich goed. Er bevindt zich een barst in de voorruit (geen APK-afkeur).
INTERIEUR:
Het originele lederen interieur verkeert in een prachtige, onbeschadigde conditie. De klassieke instrumenten op het dashboard zijn scherp en helder. Het houten sierpaneel ter hoogte van de airconditioning-unit is gebroken, maar is nog volledig en compleet aanwezig.
MOTOR EN TECHNIEK:
Onder de motorkap bevindt zich de 2,8-liter V6 Biturbo-motor, gekoppeld aan een 4-traps automatische versnellingsbak. De turbo's en motor functioneren goed. In 2025 is het voertuig mechanisch onder handen genomen door specialist Classic Car Doctor.
DOCUMENTEN:
Het voertuig heeft een actieve Nederlandse kentekenregistratie (DJ-XB-65). Een factuur van de recente onderhoudswerkzaamheden uit 2025 door de specialist is ter inzage aanwezig.
Het voertuig kan worden bezichtigd en opgehaald. Biedingen zijn exclusief transport en export, tenzij oars vermeld. Het regelen van het transport, de eigendomsoverdracht en eventuele exportdocumenten/COC-kosten is voor rekening van de koper.
