A fine antique Orrefors Junior Odelberg-style crystal decanter (or decanting bottle).
This decanter is recognizable by its slender, tapering shape, the characteristic cut diamond pattern in the glass, and the accompanying glass stopper with a flat, ring-shaped grip on top.
The same or similar decanters are offered by specialized Scandinavian antiquarians* and museums. **
Estimated age based on online comparison is between 1780 and 1830.
The decanter is in a beautiful condition without chips etc.

Een fraaie  antieke Orrefors Junior Odelberg-stijl kristallen karaf (of decanteerfles). 
Deze karaf is herkenbaar aan de slanke, taps toelopende vorm, het karakteristieke geslepen ruit- of diamantpatroon in het glas en de bijbehorende glazen stop met een platte, ringvormige  grip aan de bovenkant.
De zelfde of soortgelijke karaffen worden aangeboden bij gespecialiseerde Scandinavische antiquairs*  en musea. **
