“A polychrome majolica sculpture with extensive gilding depicting Pierrot and Colombina, created by the C.A.C.F. manufactory of Faenza on a model by Francesco Nonni (1885–1976).

The original model is documented in Emanuele Gaudenzi's monograph, Francesco Nonni. The Dream, Beauty, pp. 28–29, figures 13–14, through two pieces executed by the La Faïence manufactory of Paolo Zoli.

The work presented here constitutes a subsequent interpretation of the same model, characterized by particularly rich polychrome and gilded decoration.”
