Carafe - Crystal - Decanter Captain 2.1 kg

Vintage crystal-cut decanter carafe in the so-called ship shape, also called the captain's decanter: wide flared base, long slender neck. This shape was designed to remain stable on ships, hence its name.

Materials: heavy crystal, 2.1 kilograms. The body is deeply cut with a dense pattern of diamond points and large radiating fans. An star is cut beneath the foot. The original ball stopper is cut with radiating ridges and a star at the tip; it sits correctly in the neck.

Condition: excellent condition, no chips on the neck or base, no cracks, light signs of use. See photos.
