Jacob Jensen gained international fame as a designer for Bang & Olufsen. His designs are among the most recognizable examples of twentieth-century industrial design.

His collaboration with the Danish manufacturer Labofa produced office chairs in which the same design principles recur: clean lines, technical precision, minimalism and a particularly keen eye for proportions.

In this chair, the beautiful balance stands out between the generously upholstered seat, the separate backrest and the slender metal construction.

The four-arm star base with its characteristic chrome wheel housings gives the chair an almost architectural look.

And as good Danish design should do, everything is functional.

The seat height and backrest are adjustable, the chair swivels and the four original wheels ensure smooth movement.

Excellent vintage condition.
This piece has been exceptionally well preserved.
The black leather is in excellent condition, with no tears or damage. The seat and backrest retain their lovely shape and authentic appearance.

The metal base, the chrome parts and the adjustment mechanisms show light, age-related signs of use and a beautiful natural patina.

All functions have been checked and work excellently. The height adjustment, adjustable backrest, swivel function and wheels operate as they should.

A fully usable, original design chair that has retained its vintage character.
