Description from the seller

Splendid and rare coffee pot in fine white porcelain, produced by the famous Richard-Ginori manufactory in the prestigious Pittoria di Doccia department.
The piece dates from the 1920s/1930s, the golden period when the renowned architect Gio Ponti served as artistic director of the manufactory. The ceramic body echoes a refined and elegant late-18th-century form of the factory, characterized by sinuous lines, a soft ear-shaped handle, and a shaped spout.
Splendid avant-garde graphic motif in perfect Art Deco style, featuring black vertical bands, concentric blue/purple shaded crescents and small geometric details, entirely finished by hand in gold leaf (on the handle, spout and lid).
Under the base is the original sought-after gold-leaf mark "Richard-Ginori / Pittoria di Doccia" with a heraldic shield, certifying the authenticity and artistic workmanship of the period.
Excellent condition. The porcelain is intact, free of chips, cracks or restorations. The glaze is glossy and the splendid gold leaf embellishments are perfectly preserved and bright.
A true museum piece, ideal for 20th-century design collectors or lovers of designer porcelain.
See photos for conditions and measurements.
I do not ship outside the European Community.
The lot will be carefully packed and shipped in a reinforced polystyrene foam box.
