Chandelier attributed to Mazzega – Murano glass, 1970s, 5 lights
Elegant Italian vintage chandelier from the 1970s, attributed to Mazzega, with five light points and a characteristic chrome metal structure.
The chandelier features five elements in Murano artistic glass, in amber, honey and transparent tones, with irregular shapes and a particular texturing typical of Italian Space Age design of the period.
The chromed structure and the arrangement of the glass pieces are features of Mazzega chandeliers from the 1960s/70s.
Conditions: good vintage condition, with normal signs of age on the chromed frame. The five glass elements are intact.
Dimensions: approximately 37 × 45 × 45 cm, excluding the chain.
The lamp bears no brand or identifying label. It is therefore offered as attributed to Mazzega, on the basis of the type, structure and materials. It bears a strong resemblance to other Mazzega pieces from the 1970s on the vintage design market.
A particularly decorative and interesting piece for collectors of Mazzega, Murano and Italian Mid-Century / Space Age Design.
