Description from the seller

A refined lot of white porcelain from the famous German manufacturer Rosenthal, belonging to the prestigious Classic Rose Collection line. The service reproduces the iconic Sanssouci shape, one of the most famous and historically significant designs of the Bavarian house.
The surface of each piece is entirely decorated with the celebrated embossed relief motif, faithful reproduction of the rich Rococo stucco that decorates the ceilings of Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam, commissioned by Frederick the Great. The ornament blends a dense geometric lattice motif with delicate floral festoons and rose buds.
The classical elegance of the relief is enhanced by a sober yet luxurious finish with real platinum edging that delicately outlines the fluted edge of the plates, the rims of the cups, and the details of the handles, giving the set a timeless character and absolute distinction.
Each piece bears on the bottom the authentic factory mark printed under the display in green: "Classic Rose Collection - Rosenthal Group - Germany".
The lot consists of :
• 6 tea cups
• 6 saucers
• 6 dessert plates
Excellent conservation state. No chips, hairlines, cracks or restorations are found. The platinum trim on the rims and handles maintains its original brilliance and is beautifully preserved.
