De Marantz 2226B is een klassieke stereoversterker uit eind jaren 70 met zo’n 26 watt per kanaal bij 8 Ω, waarbij hij een warm, typisch Marantz-geluid combineert met een solide bouw. Hij beschikt over een FM-/AM-tuner, phono-ingang, tape- en aux-ingangen, plus toonregeling (bass, mid, treble) voor verfijnde geluidsaanpassing.
