A set of 24 porcelain flat plates by SCR - Società Ceramica Richard, Milan (San Cristoforo), dating to the late 19th century (1873–1896), with neoclassical garland decoration in pink/red and green, about 25 cm in diameter, in good used condition with minor age-related marks and wear to the gilt edge.
Description from the seller
Splendid service consisting of only flat plates by the Richard Ceramic Society (late 19th century). It features a refined neoclassical-style decoration.
The garland is composed of festoons of beads and braids intertwined in antique pink/rose tones, alternated with vertical elements reminiscent of small vases, tripods or pavilions in green, typical of late 19th-century production.
The mark belongs to the Richard Ceramic Society of Milan (San Cristoforo works) and dates to the end of the 19th century, between 1873 and 1896 (the year of the famous merger that gave birth to Richard-Ginori). Inside the triangle is the monogram with the interlaced letters SCR (Società Ceramica Richard).
The number 4404 printed below the triangle represents the factory model number.
The set includes over 24 flat plates measuring about 25 cm.
Good condition with normal signs of age, note wear to the gold rim.
See photos for the condition and measurements of all pieces.
I do not ship outside the European Community.
The lot will be carefully packed and shipped in a reinforced polystyrene box.
