Description from the seller
Refined and precious tea service for 6 people in fine white porcelain, produced by the renowned Italian manufacturer Richard Ginori between the late 1930s and the 1940s.
The service is distinguished by a rich and elegant floral ramage decoration in silver overlay applied by hand, a characteristic of the period style of the manufactory. The contrast between the shine of the precious metal and the purity of the porcelain makes this set a perfect example of Italian Twentieth Century artisanal craftsmanship.
The lot comprises 13 pieces in total:
• 6 tea cups with white interior and handles entirely finished in silver.
• 6 coordinating saucers with subtle ribbed work and dense radial floral decoration.
• 1 Milk jug / creamer with silvered spout and handle.
On the bottom of each piece there is the factory authenticity mark impressed in green under glass: "Richard Ginori" arranged in an arc, topped by three stars, with the production line acronym "N.C." (Nuova Ceramica) just below, guaranteeing the era and originality.
The service is presented in good vintage condition, consistent with its age and use (about 90 years of history). to note a small hairline on the pot, as shown in the photo.
See photos for the condition and measurements of all pieces.
I do not ship outside the European Community.
The lot will be carefully packed and shipped in a reinforced polystyrene box.
