MZ (Moritz Zdekauer) - Coffee service (13) - Porcelain

Raro Servizio da Caffè Art Déco MZ Czechoslovakia (Moritz Zdekauer) – Porcellana e Lustro Metallico, c. 1920-1938.
Fascinating and refined five-person coffee set in fine Bohemian porcelain, produced by the renowned MZ - Moritz Zdekauer manufactory in Stará Role (Altrohlau), in the then Czechoslovakia The Old Stuff.
The lot fully dates to the Art Deco period (the 1920s/1930s) and is distinguished by an exceptional contrast decoration. The white porcelain surface is enriched with a dense geometric lattice motif alternating with reserves containing stylized floral bouquets, entirely finished with spectacular metallic luster work and details in white gold or silver on the handles, rims, and profiles. The main bodies (teapot, sugar shaker, and milk jug) feature flowing, acanthus-like neo-Baroque shapes reinterpreted in a Deco key.
On the bottom of each piece is the original underglaze mark: the imperial eagle crowned with the letters "M" and "Z" and the inscription "Czechoslovakia", certifying authenticity and the era of the service The Old Stuff.
Good condition with normal signs of time and wear of the gold/silver.
The lot consists of:
• 1 Teapot / Coffee pot with coordinated lid
• 1 Sugar shaker with two handles with coordinated lid
• 1 Milk jug / Creamer
• 5 Tea/Coffee cups
• 5 Coordinated saucers
See photos for the condition and measurements of all pieces.

The lot will be carefully packed and shipped in a reinforced polystyrene box.
