Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 2/58mm lens with M42 mount, tested and working, in very good condition with clear optics and smooth focus, includes Minolta P-Adapter and original Zeiss case.
Description from the seller
An iconic Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 58mm f/2 vintage camera lens with a native M42 screw mount in remarkably clean and well-preserved condition.
This 1950s classic is world-renowned among photographers for its unique, painterly "swirly bokeh" and rendering style. The optical design of the Biotar later served as the foundation for the Soviet Helios 44-2, but this is the original German craftsmanship from Carl Zeiss.
Lens Condition
Optics: Very clear and clean glass. Free from mold, deep scratches, or haze.
Mechanics: The focus ring turns smoothly, and the multi-blade aperture diaphragm operates perfectly.
Cosmetics: Handsome silver aluminum barrel showing very good condition.
Included in this Set
Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 58mm f/2 lens (M42 mount)
Original vintage Minolta P-Adapter (Made in Japan)
Original vintage Zeiss storage container/case shows signs of age and use

A wonderful addition to a vintage camera collection, or an excellent choice for anyone looking to experiment with a classic Zeiss lens on a compatible camera.
