Portuguese chest from the 20th century, in chestnut wood, with relief-carved decoration in the Renaissance taste. Rectangular body with a lift-top lid, wide interior compartment and a lower drawer.

The front presents two ornamental panels with symmetrical compositions of vegetal scrolls and floral motifs, framed by worked moldings. The vertical elements and the drawer receive carved decoration, extending the decorative work to the side faces.

Fittings in gold-toned metal, with pierced elements, including applications on the lid, front clasp and side wings. Stands on four ball feet.
