Description from the seller
Stölzle – Hermanova Hut – Art Deco Vase no. 18662
Beautiful Art Deco glass vase in blue, model no. 18662, originating from the famous Stölzle – Hermanova Hut glassworks. This design reflects the hallmark features of the Art Deco style: strong geometry, clean lines, and a sculptural character that catches the light in a special way.
What is particularly notable about this piece is that it was produced not only in Czechoslovakia but also in Germany. Thanks to this collaboration, some vases, like this piece, bear the 'DEUTSCHLAND' mark on the base – a detail that underscores the diffusion and international influence of the design.
The De Stölzle factories, associated with Eduard Stölzle, were leaders in pressed glass production in the first half of the 20th century. Through their exports and collaborations, they reached a wide audience, and their Art Deco creations are still internationally appreciated by collectors today.
