Three Dutch thematic coin sets in their original illustrated presentation folders and protective sleeves, combining Dutch guilder coinage with art and sporting history.

Rembrandt van Rijn – The Night Watch, 1997
Culture series 001-1997. The folder celebrates Rembrandt and his famous painting The Night Watch. Contains the six Dutch denominations from 5 cents to 5 guilders, together with a commemorative medal.

Vincent van Gogh – The Potato Eaters, 1997
Culture series 002-1997. Dedicated to Van Gogh and The Potato Eaters, with accompanying information about the artist and painting. Contains the six Dutch denominations from 5 cents to 5 guilders, together with a commemorative medal.

Jan Knippenberg – Memorial Set, 1998
Sport series 01-98. Dedicated to Dutch ultrarunner and writer Jan Knippenberg. The cover features his photograph and the quotation “Lopen is geen sport, maar een manier van reizen” — “Running is not a sport, but a way of travelling.”

The two 1997 sets each contain:
• 5 cents – bronze, 3.50 g, 21 mm.
• 10 cents – nickel, 1.50 g, 15 mm.
• 25 cents – nickel, 3.00 g, 19 mm.
• 1 guilder – nickel, 6.00 g, 25 mm.
