Nikon F4 + AF Nikkor 35-70mm Single lens reflex camera (SLR)

The Nikon F4 is one of the most iconic professional analog SLRs ever produced by Nikon. Introduced in the late 1980s, it represented a true revolution in the world of photography thanks to the introduction of advanced technologies combined with an extremely rugged build. It was the first Nikon professional SLR with built-in autofocus, while maintaining full compatibility with many of the brand's historic manual lenses, a feature that made it beloved by both professionals and enthusiasts.

The body has a commanding, very solid design, with a weather-sealed construction and controls designed for intensive use. The F4 offers numerous exposure modes, motorized film advance, and a bright, high-quality viewfinder, elements that at the time placed it among the most advanced SLRs on the market. Even today it is regarded as an extremely reliable and enjoyable camera to use.

The Nikon AF Nikkor 35-70mm lens is a widely used standard zoom from the analog era, appreciated for its versatility and build quality. The 35-70 mm focal length covers everything from moderate wide-angle to light portraiture, making it ideal for everyday photography, reportage, travel, and portraits. Many versions of this lens were built almost entirely of metal, delivering a very natural optical performance and the contrast typical of Nikon lenses of the era.

The pairing of the Nikon F4 and the 35-70 mm represents a classic analog professional kit from the 1990s, still highly regarded today for reliability, photographic quality, and an extremely solid and professional feel in use.
