Description from the seller
Vintage, exclusive cutlery set (12 spoons) with XXL silver plating, coming from the famous Mayflower luxury hotel in the Washington, D.C. district, opened in 1925, nicknamed the "Grand Lady of Connecticut Avenue" and known as the second most important hotel in America after the White House, hosting several presidents such as Calvin Coolidge for the inaugural ball and Franklin D. Roosevelt, where he lived for several months before his inauguration in 1933. The period of the cutlery, I believe, dates from 1940/1960. 12 pieces in total and a weight of about 420 g. I preferred not to polish the set to avoid losing the beautiful patina of time.
The cutlery set is without its original packaging. It will arrive in a box created by me.
Attention: one spoon has the same provenance but does not have the same brand.
