Description from the seller

Circular reliquary shrine in silvered metal, containing a relic attributed to Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus, known as Saint Thérèse of Lisieux (1873–1897).

The relic is displayed on a small white support, at the center of a gold fabric backdrop, topped by a portrait of the saint. A handwritten titulus bears the Latin inscription: “S. Theresiae a Jesu Infante.”

On the reverse, the reliquary retains its ecclesiastical seal in red wax, stamped with coat of arms, as well as its four metal attachments. The sealing shows an old alteration along its edge.

Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, French Carmelite, is one of the most venerated saints in Catholicism. Known for her spirituality of the “little way,” based on humility and trust in God, she was canonized in 1925 and proclaimed a Doctor of the Church in 1997. Condition:
