Very fine and also large antique pendulum clock made of gilded bronze and white marble in the Louis XVI style.

The timepiece is decorated with atop a gilded bronze spear-like finial and a burning torch.

In addition, we see finely chased bronze ornaments such as floral motifs, ribbons and garlands of flowers and fruits.

This imposing and very heavy timepiece was made by Raingo Frères, a prestigious 19th‑century French clockmaker and bronze foundry based in Paris.

The firm was renowned worldwide for its highly precise timepieces, technical innovations and luxurious decorative art objects.

This clock dates from the second half of the 19th century and is in perfect condition.

Dimensions: 42 cm high x 33 cm wide and 14 cm deep.
