Roco locomotive in scale H0.
Description from the seller
Roco H0 - 4184A - Electric locomotive (1) - Series 1600 - DB Schenker Rail
Fleet number 1615 (on the front one side shows 1614)
Repainted to DB Schenker livery
Tested and working
Front- and rear signals change with direction of travel
4 axles driven
From February 2012 seven still-active 1600 locomotives (the 1602, 1604, 1611, 1612, 1614, 1615 and 1616) underwent a major overhaul. They were completely repainted in the iconic Deutsche Bahn traffic red, including the DB logo on the front and sides. The locomotives retained their original Dutch names (such as the 1616 "Oldenzaal").
They were used daily for so-called Unit Cargo trains (domestic freight trains) from the Kijfhoek marshalling yard to destinations such as Amsterdam, Onnen, Sloe (Vlissingen) and Sittard. Because these locomotives were technically only suitable for the Dutch 1,500V DC network, they could not cross the border into Germany despite their German owner.
