Description from the seller

Exceptional lot of 3 Napoleonic figurines (one mounted – signed Antonio – 1970s – hand-painted – with original packaging

⸻

Description

Superb set of 3 mounted Napoleonic figurines, entirely handmade and hand-painted by the artist Antonio in the 1970s–1980s. Workshop/artisan pieces in lead/tin alloy, approx. 1/16 scale, each signed on the base and kept in its original packaging.

Each figure depicts an officer or cavalryman of the Imperial Guard, richly detailed:
• Period uniforms faithfully reproduced (gold braid, sabers, shakos, boots, epaulettes).
• Paintwork of remarkable finesse: coat tones, metallic reflections, leathers hand-painted.
• Solid wood base with handwritten signature Antonio.

These figurines are high-level artisan pieces, from the circle of Spanish and Italian artists active within the Andrea Miniatures or La Meridiana movement. They were never produced in a series and remain very rare on the market in such complete condition.
