Description from the seller
This expressive hand-knotted designer rug in Loribaft design from Pakistan combines traditional oriental motifs with a warm, contemporary color palette. With its ample size of approximately 300 × 208 cm, it is ideal as a central rug for living rooms, dining rooms, or other representative spaces.
The design is characterized by strong red, rust, and terracotta tones. In the center lies a rectangular, richly articulated pattern field of horizontal ornament bands. In it, stylized trees, plants, animals, small geometric symbols, and square decorative elements alternate. Turquoise, blue, green, cream, and ocher provide lively contrasts to the warm base color.
Particularly distinctive is the broad border: The side borders consist of differently designed color and motif fields and resemble a meticulously assembled textile collage. Small floral and geometric elements as well as animal depictions give the rug its unmistakable, narrative character.

Thanks to the clear division of the central field and the varied borders, the pattern remains harmonious despite its level of detail. The rug can be used in a classic setting or as a deliberate contrast in a modern, minimalist space.
Typical slight irregularities in texture, drawing, and form are part of the character of a hand-knotted rug and emphasize its artisanal individuality.
A decorative, colorful designer rug in the Loribaft style that combines traditional motifs with a contemporary color effect – a characterful one-off piece for discerning living spaces.
