AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Remarkable and very expressive bronze sculpture of two boxing hares, executed in a dynamic and playful composition.

The two hares stand upright facing each other and seem caught in the middle of a fight. The greatly exaggerated ears, elongated bodies and graceful movement of the legs give the work a lot of character and a nearly human appearance. From every angle a different image arises, making the sculpture appear especially lively.

The bronze has a beautiful dark, warm patina, with the modeling and various surface details remaining beautifully visible. The sculpture is mounted on a richly veined, dark-colored marble plinth, which gives the whole a luxurious and classical look.

On the bronze base there is a signature/mark and a round medallion; these are clearly shown in the detailed photos.

A characterful work of art that fits excellently in both a classical and a modern interior. Very suitable as a statement piece on a console, sideboard, desk or in an art collection.

Features:

* Representation: two dancing hares
* Sculpture material: bronze
* Dark patinated finish
* Marble plinth
* Equipped with signature/mark
* Dynamic three-dimensional composition
* Very decorative and attractive from multiple sides
