Set of four crystal salt and pepper shakers with diamond-cut motifs and borders in solid silver and vermeil, made in France around 1900–1910, weighing 250 g with dimensions 2.7 cm high and 4.6 cm in diameter, supplied with the original case and four brass and silver-plated salt spoons, in very good condition with minor signs of wear.
Description from the seller
With its original box, 4 superb salt and pepper shakers in cut crystal featuring a diamond-point motif. The border, decorated with friezes of water leaves, is in sterling silver and vermeil (sterling silver plated with gold), Minerva first-title hallmark and the goldsmith's mark Saglier Frères, Parisian goldsmith, dating from 1897. The set is from the late 19th to early 20th century. I am adding 4 mismatched salt spoons in brass and silver-plated metal.
Very good overall condition with some signs of use.
Dimensions of each salt/pepper shaker: about 2.7 cm high and 4.6 cm in diameter; total weight without the box 250 grams.
