Expressive ceramic sculpture, depicting a stylized head with a tall pointed headdress from the French pottery community named after the village Accolay in Yonne, Burgundy, founded in 1945, closed in 1898.

Accolay has recently been in the spotlight; in 2026 UCCA Clay, together with the Museum in Dijon consortium, organized an exhibition of 124 Accolay objects.

In excellent condition. 16.5 cm high. Marked on the underside.

Expressief keramisch sculptuur , voorstellend  een gestileerd hoofd met hoge puntvormige hoofdtooi van de Franse pottenbakkersgemeenschap genoemd naar het dorp Accolay in de Yonne, Bourgondië, opgericht in 1945, gesloten in 1898.
