Two Italian San Leucio silk damask panels with a green-and-gold jacquard pattern, each measuring 280 × 140 cm.
Description from the seller
Beautiful damask fabric (or damask), produced with a jacquard-type weaving. The material shown in the photo is specifically a damask silk for upholstery and drapery, characterized by medallion motifs in Baroque/arabesque style with a shifting green and gold tone on a beige/light base.
Main features of this fabric:
• Shimmering effect (Shiny-Matte): The hallmark of damask lies in the contrast between the background and the design, achieved by alternating shiny (silk) weaves and more matte areas that reflect light differently depending on the angle.
• The Jacquard technique: The decorative motifs are not printed on top, but are woven directly into the fabric’s structure thanks to special looms.
• Usage: It is a medium-weight fabric, very durable and elegant, commonly used in interior furnishings to create luxurious drapery, tablecloths, and runners, or to line cushions, armchairs, and sofas. The piece consists of two very large panels measuring 280x140 cm, totaling 560 cm in length by 140 cm in width. NB: it is possible to have a single panel measuring 280x280 cm; just send a message. End of auction, happy bidding to all."}{
