Axe - Rival - France - 1930-1940

A fine antique set consisting of two steel cutting tools, including a two‑handled rocking chopper/cutter with a wooden handle, signed Rival and adorned with its wolf emblem, accompanied by a traditional cleaver with a wooden handle.

The rocking chopper captivates with its wide curved blade, designed to chop herbs, meats, or vegetables effectively with a steady swinging motion. The cleaver, more massive, complements the set perfectly for bolder cuts.

Both pieces display a beautiful patina of wear, in keeping with their age, which enhances their authentic character.

A functional, decorative, and charming set, ideal for enthusiasts of antique kitchen tools, historic trade items, and vintage decor.

The axe stands 30 cm tall and 9.5 cm wide.
The chopper measures 26 cm in length and 13 cm in height.
