Description from the seller

For sale is an exceptional two-part ensemble combining two stylistically harmonizing eras of French decorative art.

Lamp shade – Muller Frères Lunéville, Art Deco, France circa 1920–1930
The globe-shaped shade is made of pink-lacquer satinized pressed glass with rich relief decoration: fan-shaped rays, stylized grapes, floral motifs, and a surrounding geometric-floral border. The interplay of matte and polished glass surfaces creates a fascinating light refraction. In the base area, clearly signed: “Muller Frès Lunéville”. Originally designed as a hanging lamp shade (open mounting opening at the bottom). Color: pink-lacquer. Diameter: 23 cm, mounting opening: 10.5 cm

Lamp base – Jugendstil / Art Nouveau, France / Belgium circa 1900–1915
Solid cast brass base with a broad, dish-like foot, lush acanthus relief, flowing wavy edge, turned shaft with pearl-bead decor, and a pierced, scroll-work collar. Naturally aged brass patina. Electrified, electricals functional, inline switch on the cable. Color: antique brass/gold. Base diameter: 21 cm.
Total height with shade: 39 cm.

Condition
Shade: Good. At the edge of the lower mounting opening there are light wear marks and occasional minimal glass nicks from long-term use with various mounts. Functionality is flawless, no cracks, no structural damage. Inner side shows slight age patina.

Base: Good, with age-appropriate brass patina, electronics function flawlessly.
